Parent Caucus

Please make a difference in the lives of children and their families throughout the state of New Jersey by supporting the New Jersey Parents Caucus.

As the parents and family members raising children with mental health challenges, we know too well the importance of finding appropriate services and support, and connecting with an organization committed to enhancing the quality of life for children and their families.

And as members of the community, we know that we are not alone in knowing a child who is living with a mental health need. The challenges of mental illness present many faces…from children with ADHD, autism or depression, to those with anxiety, behavioral or social disorders…from children who are traumatized by the separation from their families, to those who are traumatized by violence in their communities.

These are the children, along with their families who so desperately need your Support! Give today and provide support, outreach, training and leadership opportunities for parents and family members raising children with mental health challenges.

Youth Caucus

Their Future is in Our Hands!

While our youth have the potential to be the greatest source of positive change in our mental health and juvenile justice systems, they continue to be the missing dynamic in systems reform. Please make a difference in the lives of children and youth throughout the state of New Jersey by Supporting the NJPC Youth Caucus (formerly known as the NJ Youth Coalition), with 34 Members between the ages of 16 and 25!

Your support and commitment to social change will Help us to empower our young people who struggle with mental health challenges and have current or prior involvement in the juvenile justice and child welfare systems to advocate for real change. Many of our youth advocates feel that their voices are not heard and valued, and some are ashamed of their experiences.

HELP them to become empowered to make changes in their lives and communities to ensure that they are involved in all levels of decision making in their advocacy work, and that they learn how to use their lived experiences to create change, recover from trauma, and develop leadership skills that will help them thrive as adults.
